開催趣旨
アジアの水問題は今、経済発展と急速な都市化・工業化に加え、気候変動という新たな課題に直面している。
本シンポジウムでは、アジア学術会議（SCA）加盟国等から水資源管理に係わる気鋭の研究者を招いて、アジア地域における持続可能な水資源管理に向けた取組を紹介するとともに、急速に変化する社会、経済、環境条件下で水資源をいかに安定的、持続的かつ安全に利用していくか、それに向けた学術的・政策的課題について考える
