The Science Council of Asia (SCA) is an international scientific organization founded in 2000 by Asian science academies and other national scientific organizations.
SCA aims to promote scientific exchanges among Asian nations as well as joint researches and collaborations across a wide range of academic fields in Asia, as it fosters mutual understandings and trust among scientists across Asia.
At present, SCA is comprised of 27 academic organizations from the 16 countries of Bangladesh, Cambodia, China, India, Indonesia, Japan, Republic of Korea, Malaysia, Mongolia, Myanmar, Nepal, the Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Thailand, and Vietnam, with the secretariat established at Science Council of Japan (SCJ).
