Signing Ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding between Science Council of Japan and the China Association of Science and Technology
For the purpose of promoting cooperation between the two organizations, the signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding between Science Council of Japan (SCJ) and the China Association of Science and Technology (CAST) was held at CAST in Beijing, China on September 7th, 2015. Prof. Takashi Onishi, President of SCJ and Prof. Han Qide, President of CAST signed the memorandum on behalf of each organization.

Signing Ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding between Science Council of Japan and the Korean Academy of Science and Technology
For the purpose of promoting the scientific cooperation between the two organizations, signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding between Science Council of Japan(SCJ) and the Korean Academy of Science and Technology(KAST) was held at Sejong University in Seoul, Korea on November 13th, 2014. Prof. Takashi Onishi, President of SCJ and Prof. Sung Hyun Park, President of KAST signed the memorandum on behalf of each organization.
Science Council of Japan and the Korean Institute of Public Administration concluded the Agreement on Joint Conferences for Scientific Cooperation (July 10th, 2014)
On July 10th, 2014, in the SCJ President's room, Prof. Takashi Onishi, SCJ President and Dr. Eun Jae Lee, the KIPA President concluded the Agreement on Joint Conferences for Scientific Cooperation which aims to promote scientific exchange between SCJ and the KIPA.

For the purpose of promoting the scientific cooperation between the two organizations, the signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding between Science Council of Japan and the Israel Academy of Sciences and Humanities was held at Science Council of Japan on October 10, 2013. Professor Takashi Onishi, President of Science Council of Japan and Professor Ruth Arnon, President of the Israel Academy of Sciences and Humanities signed the memorandum on behalf of each organization.
Bulgaria-Japan Research Collaboration for Sustainable Development
On March 19, 2013, Science Council of Japan (SCJ) and Bulgarian Academy of Sciences (BAS) collaboratively held their Bilateral Conference “Bulgaria-Japan Research Collaboration for Sustainable Development” with the delegates from BAS, Japanese and Bulgarian researchers, engineers and specialists of Japanese industries and related organizations, and SCJ council members, with honorable guests from the Bulgarian Embassy in Japan and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan.

Agreement of Cooperation between Science Council of Japan (SCJ) and Bulgarian Academy of Sciences (BAS)
For the purpose of promoting the scientific cooperation between the two organizations, the signing ceremony of the Agreement of Cooperation between Science Council of Japan (SCJ) and Bulgarian Academy of Sciences (BAS) was held at BAS in Sofia, Bulgaria on 30 March 2012. Professor Takashi Onishi, President of SCJ and Prof. Nikola Sabotinov, President of BAS signed the agreement on behalf of each organization.
On 29 March 2012, Professor Takashi Onishi, President of SCJ and Dr. Fumiko Kasuga, Vice-President of SCA made a courtesy visit to H. E. Mr. Rosen Plevneliev, President of the Republic of Bulgaria.
Mutual Friendship Agreement between Science Council of Japan (SCJ) and Bangladesh Academy of Sciences (BAS)
For the purpose of promoting the scientific friendship between the two academies, signing ceremony of Mutual Friendship Agreement between Science Council of Japan (SCJ) and Bangladesh Academy of Sciences (BAS) was held at the office of SCJ President on 16 September 2009. Professor Ichiro Kanazawa, President of SCJ and Prof. Dr. Mohamed Shamsher Ali, President of BAS signed the agreement on behalf of each organization.
