Science Council of Japan（SCJ） is affiliated with major international academic organizations, including ISC (International Science Council) and IAP (InterAcademy Partnership). In order to respond to the activities of these international academic organizations, SCJ has established various subcommittees under the Committee for International Affairs and/or the Committees Based on Fields of Specialties.

International Academic Organizations

As part of its efforts to facilitate scientific development, SCJ also sends delegates to international conferences and events hosted by these organizations with an eye to building stronger bonds with academic societies across the globe and promoting international exchanges about scientific research.
